HA! Jared I will let you on a little secret that a fave doctor of my let me in on. Your mistake is in thinking that your insurance company in there to help you!!!

Man I was on the same pain medication for 2 and a 1/2 years. It kept me out of the hospital completely. Insurance changes, they say I can't have it, they gave some BS excuses, but I am sure the fact that what I was taking cost about 1000$ a month while the one they wanted me to take cost 40$ a month had nothing to do with it... yeah right. My doctor wrote them back saying this patient needs to be on this medication, no other drug comes close to the pain relief this medication provides. They still denied. Of course this came after 3 times sending an approval, calling to be assured they got it and it would take two weeks to review it, then at the end of the two weeks telling me they never recieved anything from my doctor. That they have no records of me ever calling.

You know their faceless doctor and lawyer who review your case get paid far more money if they find a way to deny you a treatment or medication or in any other way save the company money?
