Scott,

There isn’t an integration for Office and Alfresco on the Mac. I have been playing with porting the MS Office Add-in to the Mac Dashboard. It is not to the port that it is completely functional. As time permits I’ll continue working on it.

One of the changes that came with Office 2008 was the move to using native Applescript as the extension language. I’ve been thinking about playing with it to see if we can accomplish the same thing using it.

Another option is OpenOffice. The OpenOffice plugins should be cross-platform. (The ones that I tried in early development worked both on Mac and Windows. I haven’t had a chance to try them on Linux but they should work there as well.)
